My daughters father was recently forced into the armyafter getting arrested last year. He refuses to give me any info on why he was arrested and what he did. For my daughter’s safety, I want to do a criminal background check and find out some details. I live in Indiana. Is there any website or database where I can obtain this info since arrest records are public? PLEASE help!!

Go to the web site for the county he was arrested in. Find their court documents link. Its not going to do a criminal background check, but you’ll find out why he was arrested, and depending on the county, it may state if there were prior arrests. If not, you can get a full criminal background check, but it will cost you. Good luck Heather.

Most of the time criminal records are confidential and are only obtainable via government databases. Most all of the online searches are scams.

In Indiana you are going to need to do an onsite countywide search. Indiana is horrible in terms of reporting to any database repositories. You can run a 100% guaranteed for accuracy onsite criminal search here: I can guarantee you nothing free is going to be available or accurate if you even find it in Indiana.
